  • KCC/MSIP
    Summary The announcement of KCC-2008-108 file on August 7, 2007, the Korea Communications Commission announced (KCC, Korea Communications Commission) to replace the previous South Korean Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC, Ministry of Information and Communication). KCC certification is the mandatory certification for telecommunications equipment and products based in Korea "Telecommunications Basic Law" and "Radio Wave" implementation. Korea Communications Commission is responsible for the management of telecommunications products, which authorized the RRA(Radio Research Agency) for certification bodies, for the implementation of specific product certification. KCC certification is certified by the previous MIC certification accredited laboratory for conformance testing of Korea, issued approval certificate issued by the RRA. KCC was renamed MSIP (Ministry of Science, ICT & Future Planning) according to the latest Korean regulations KCC. KC label The specific content of the new regulations of KCC mark: 1, Begin with MSIP instead of KCC of the KCC certificate / registration number from the original . 2, Starting from 1 July 2,2013, Submission of applications to the NRRA, the system automatically generates MSIP-XXX-XXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXX form named in the certificate / registration number. 3, Labels which contained KCC-XXX-XXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXX form naming certificate / registration number of the certificate which had been obtained before July 1st2013, can be used until 30 September 2013. 4, Products shipped to South Korea after October 1st,2013 must use label in the form of MSIP-XXX-XXX-XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Gold/ Silver can be used with a special glow / shiny printing results, or any monochrome.     Summary Wireless products exported to Indonesia, must pass the type certification and customs inspection of Indonesia SDPPI.  Indonesia Postal electricity Letter Administration (Directorate General of Post and Telecommunication, DGPT) became mandatory since June 2009, Indonesian ban offshore companies for being type approval holder.  Safety requirements for low-power devices are not mandatory in Indonesia. 2.4 GH and 5 GHz radio certification is a mandatory requirement POSTEL certification.  Application requirements Indonesia certification application, you need to provide a local Indonesian company as a certificate holder who had been authorized by the foreign manufacturer. Indonesia Local companies allow certificate holders as vendors local agents, local wholesale or local brokers.     Summary SIRIM is the only certification authority of Malaysia, electrical and electronic products exported to Malaysia are required to apply for recognition of SIRIM Cert. In principle, the applicants should be Malaysian local institutions. SIRIM certification application and management is charged by SIRIM QAS. Malaysia imposed compulsory product certification system is divided into two kinds of certification and voluntary certification. Communications equipment and "Electrical Equipment approve Article Example "set forth in 31 categories of electrical products subject to mandatory type certification and safety certification, respectively. Other products are in the Voluntary certification category. At present, for electromagnetic compatibility, there are not mandatory requirements in Malaysia. SIRIM Mark Malaysia has a lot of different kinds of products to meet the requirements of CB IECEE system. MS marks and ST marks are the voluntary and compulsory safety signs of the products exported to Malaysia.     Summary VCCI is a symbol of Japan's electromagnetic compatibility,which is controlled by Voluntary Control Council for Interference by Information Technology Equipment.According to CISPR 22 assessment of information technology products are in compliance with VCCI requirements.VCCI certification is not mandatory,But selling information technology products in Japan , generally will be required for VCCI certification.Manufacturers should first apply to become a member of VCCI,then they can use VCCI symbol.In order to obtain the approval of VCCI, the EMI test report provided must be issued by VCCI registration approved testing agency.     Summary JATE(Japan Approvals Institute for Telecommunications Equipment) is the main Approvals Institute for Telecommunications Equipment Conformity Certification in Japan. Communications equipment connected to telecommunications network need technical regulations conformity certification, JATE is mandatory, certification bodies are registered bodies accredited by MI. Japan Public Management and Interior, the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication (MPHPT) stipulates that the Japanese telecommunications equipment compulsory certification in Japanese telecommunications business law.Telecommunication Business law enforced in 1985, title 68 says, MPHPT qualified agency to implement qualified technical conditions. MPHPT qualified JATE as the only qualified agency to implement qualified technical conditions, named JATE recognition. JATE for public network telecommunications equipment is mandatory certification. Approved devices can be connected to the public network, without checking by telecommunications providers.     Summary TELEC is compulsory certification of wireless products in Japan, there are some similar to the domestic SRRC. It follows the MIC Radio law in Japan. Specific test specification is to follow the MIC (ministry) Japan Notice No. 88 regulations, see the following url: http://www.tele.soumu.go.jp/j/material/test.htm test specification update maintenance is conducted by MIC. WiFi and Bluetooth products test project is basically similar to the underlying EN300 328. The 2.4 GHz WiFi product (802.11 b/g, 2412-2472 MHZ) and Bluetooth products using standard for MIC Notice No. 88 Annex43, but for the 2.4 GHz WiFi product 14 Channel (Channel 14:2471-2497 MHZ) requires the individual to use Annex44 test and issue a report. For 5 GHz WiFi products (802.11 a, 5180 ~ 5320 MHZ, W52 Band and W53 Band) follow the test standard for Annex45, but it is important to note that the data shows, the MIC will be modified Annex45, 5.6 GHz equipment (Band W56) are classified as Annex45, and DFS of 56 frequency Band has more strict testing requirements. All the above specification and that Annex 1, so in refer to the above standards also need to pay attention to the content in Annex 1.     Summary MAC address is also called the physical address, hardware address or link address, is written in the internal hardware production by network equipment manufacturers. IP address and MAC address in the computer are in binary notation, IP address is 32 bit, and the MAC address is the 48's. The length of the MAC address is 48 (6 bytes), usually expressed as 12 hexadecimal digits between each two hexadecimal digits separated by colons, such as: 08: 00: 20: 0A: 8C: 6D is a MAC address, of which the first six hexadecimal 08:00:20 representative network hardware manufacturer's number, which is assigned by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), followed by three hexadecimal digits 0A: 8C: 6D on behalf of the manufacturer of a network of manufacturing products (such as network card) serial number. As long as you do not change your MAC address, then your MAC address is unique in the world. 0-23 bits are assigned by the manufacturers themselves. 24-47 bits, called Organizationally Unique Identifier (organizationally unique, is to identify the identity LAN (local area network) node. Among which, the 40th is a multicast address flag. NIC physical address is usually is burned into card EPROM (a flash memory chip by the card manufacturer, typically can be erased by the program), which stores the address of the transmission data on which the true identity of the host computer sends out the data and receiving data. To summarize, MAC address, just as identity card numbers on our identity, globally unique. Production of cards, routers, WIFI wireless products, Bluetooth products, manufacturers are required to apply for IEEE OUI code for the product, which is the manufacturer code of MAC addresses. After the factory has made this code, plus 24 (bite) of the manufacturers self device number, consisting of the device's MAC address.

    Summary Mobile Equipment Identity MEID (Mobile Equipment Identifier) is a CDMA phone identification code, as well as the unique identification code for each CDMA phone or tablet communication. Through this identification code, the phone can be tracked and supervision by the network end. For a CDMA mobile phone standard, MEID number range is hexadecimal, and IMEI format is similar. MEID number is under allocation and management of Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). MEID applications is need to pay. The official price is $ 8,000 per 1M range MEID's (TIA) and every additional 1M range MEID numbers require an additional charge $ 8,000. Viewing of MEID numbers, there is no common approach by the handset manufacturers which set up their own. MEID numbers can be obtained by viewing the phone user manual. MEID consists of 14 hexadecimal characters logo. The 15th digit of the parity bit, which is not involved in air transport.     Summary IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is the abbreviation of international mobile equipment identity code, an international mobile equipment identification code is a 15 digits, "electronic serial number", which correspond with each phone, and the code is a worldwide unique. Each phone after completely assembly will be assigned a globally unique set of number, this number will be recorded in manufacturing vendors from production to delivery. IMEI code is assigned by the unified GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications Association), authorized BABT (British communications Certification Board) to audit and issue. IMEI numbers by 15, consisting of: 1, the first six digits (TAC, Type Approval Code) is a "type approval number", generally represent   the models. 2, the next 2-digit (FAC, Final Assembly Code) is "final assembly number", usually on behalf of origin. 3, the next 6 digits (SNR) is a "serial number", generally represent the production sequence number. 4, the last one digit (SP) is generally "0" for the check code for use. IMEI number is unique, and posted on the back of the phone, and read and written in the phone memory. It's also the mobile phone manufacturers "File" and "ID number." Application requirements IMEI applications need to pay. Prices are $ 400 for each TAC official (BABT) . Most countries in the world can apply in BABT to get TAC, except the United States (CTIA agency applications in the US), China (TAF institutions apply in China) and India (in India MSAI institutions to apply).     Summary IECEE CB system is the first truly international system of mutual recognition of electrical product safety test report, aims to assist participating countries and certification bodies established multilateral agreement, mutual recognition of test reports. Manufacturers can rely on an CB test certificate issued by NCB to obtain national certification of other Member States in CB system. CB system is based on the international IEC standards. You can apply for certification in other countries directly after obtaining CB certificate and CB test reports. Certification bodies of the target country audit the CB Test Certificate and Report (including reports on national deviations) for review (if necessary, to provide a small amount of sample). If qualified, you can get certification in the country, without having to be applied in accordance with State statutes and rules of procedure for additional tests.     Summary The Bluetooth® Qualification Process refers to the qualification of a specific design of Bluetooth® wireless technology by an individual Member. The design applies and is limited to those specific portions of a product implementing and being compliant with a Bluetooth® Specification, as declared in the Implementation Conformance Statement (“ICS”). A qualified design of Bluetooth® wireless technology shall meet all Bluetooth® Qualification Requirements on an implementation (i.e. a product) of that design.  Bluetooth® Qualification shall refer to a specific version of the Bluetooth® Specification and to all Bluetooth® Qualification Requirements pertaining to such version. Application requirements Bluetooth® Qualification Requirements comprises of the following:  - Testing  - Documentation  - Document Filing  - Assessment  - Supplier Declaration of Conformity (SDoC)  - Compliance to Auditing and Enforcement  The Bluetooth SIG assesses an administrative fee on completion of this process (known as the Declaration fee) to cover the costs of operating the compliance program and providing other important member tools. The fee is USD 4,000 per declaration for Associate and Promoter members and USD 8,000 per declaration for Adopter members. Note: there are instances where members may list multiple products under one declaration if these products implements same Qualified Design(s).
